Sisterhood L.I.F.E.

2021 was a year to recreate ourselves.  Ministry as usual was a thing of the past.  We started the year off with our first “Sisterhood L.I.F.E.” event. 2 Corinthians 5:17 “Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come.  The old has gone, the new is here!”  Do you remember the days you were in Christ!  What a difference He make in our lives.

Sisterhood Life is about making sure others can have the opportunity to experience Christ as their savior.  We challenged 1000 sisters to join this Sisterhood Life movement.  On February 5th we held our first virtual Sisterhood Life event.   There was powerful worship, testimonies from around the world, a dynamic word from Pastor Abby Sterling and of course there were fun games and prize giveaways.

Project Sisterhood

Missions has always been the heartbeat of Women’s Ministries.  Even though 2021 proved challenging to raise funds the women along with many of churches gave a total of $139,015.89.  We praise the Lord for his faithfulness.

Sweet Life Experience

In March we held our first Hybrid Conference, In person at The House Modesto and Online!  We had over 1,000 ladies participate in our Sweet Life Freedom Conference.  Our in-person speakers were Christa Smith, Kechi Okwuchi, and Lily Olgiati. Our virtual speaker was Lisa Harper.  The House worship led us into the presence of the Lord.  Purchasing a ticket allowed you to go In Person and also have the link to rewatch the conference for 30 days.

As a bonus, we added virtual breakouts that we sent out as monthly encouragement for women.

Retreat in a Box

Another amazing “First” was our Retreat in a Box. God took this idea of a Retreat in a box further than I could have imaged it going.  Literally thousands of women were ministered through this virtual event.  Over 50 churches used it for a way of connecting and ministering to the women in their church as a In Person gathering.  Others used it for small or personal gatherings.  Dr. Melissa Alfaro shared a timely and anointed message on abiding in Christ.

Area Leader Training

In November, we held our first virtual Area Leader training.  This is normally done in two days at the DRC.  The ladies were amazing as we discussed new vision on how to raise money for missions.  In February, we will hold our first Sisterhood L.I.F.E. event, attempting to raise $100,000.00 in one event for Project Sisterhood.
