I would like to thank Superintendent Bret Allen, Dr. Sam, Dr. Jay along with the Executive Committee, Presbytery and the Northern California and Nevada women for allowing me to serve this great district.
My husband, Jim Heden, is my greatest supporter! I’m truly blessed to have such an amazing life and ministry partner.
I would like to thank my team: Kathy MacPhail, Leslie Fitzhugh, Aleigha Patino, Cindy Reynolds, Vika Chebotarev, Linda Johnson, Abby Sterling, Star Richardson, and our incredible Area Leaders. Ladies, you make ministry a joy as we serve together for the kingdom of God. Together we have seen thousands of women encouraged, equipped and empowered in their call.
2024 Faith Unseen
Sweet Life 2024 “Faith Unseen” was held March 8-9 at Bethel Church San Jose. With 1587 women attending on site and another 200+ joining online. Women from all across northern California and Nevada reported that their lives were transformed. The Spirit of God moved during the powerful messages, intimate worship, and anointed altar ministry. One woman described arriving suicidal and leaving completely set free.
WM DAY BRUNCH
NCN Women descended upon Destiny Christian Church Rocklin on April 22 to celebrate 70 years of God’s Faithfulness. Three hundred people representing 79 churches jointly exceeded the annual goal by raising $150,257.08. Twenty-Six of those churches gave $1,000 or more.
From 1954 to 2024 northern California and Nevada women gave over $9,488,819.98 to support missions projects locally, nationally and internationally. Seventy years of fruit has been quite a harvest!
We gathered in April to celebrate what God has done, but we continue to gather to participate in what God is doing. God is not finished yet, in fact he is far from it! Women across the network are being encouraged, equipped and empowered to take their place in the kingdom of God and fulfill his purposes.
Mission Trip to Philippines
Philippines:
What a privilege it was to take 14 NCN Women to minister in the Philippines.
Here’s what we did.
3 women’s events with 180 gifts, 3 kids events with 350 kids backpacks, 1 youth event with 75 crossbody bags, 1 career event with sandals for 30. 1 Sunday service with 100 in attendance.
Retreat Over 200 Mabuhay Women and their children attending their first retreat ever. We provided 12 workshops, 7 main sessions, A welcome party, Flower Party and Hot cocoa Party. We provided Free Time Activities during the day but the highlight was 40 commitments to Christ just at the retreat. What a blessings to serve God and the Philippine women.
Leadership One Day
Great day investing into our NCN leaders. The woman’s session had over 80 in our breakout with Rev Laurie Hoyt as our speaker. Quote: John Maxwell, Leaders are meant to help others become who God created them to be. I’m honored to serve this great district!
Area Leader Training
November is our annual Area leader training where sectional Women’s leaders all across our district come together to be inspired, encouraged and to learn from each other on ways to reach the women of our District for Jesus. In 2024 they ministered to thousands of women in the NCN District. I’m honored to partner with these incredible leaders.
